NOTE:
Due
to the high demand for the 12 hour paid slots we can only allow
returning volunteers to fill those positions. First time
volunteers are welcome to sign up for as many hours as they would like
but will not be paid.
Returning volunteers who want to work MORE THAN their 12 hours will be
compensated with merchandise
credit of $6 per extra hour to be used at the current sale.
For example:
15 hours volunteered = 12 hours x $6= $72 payment
3
hours x $6= $18 merchandise credit
15 hours total
Complete one bartering opportunity
and qualify for one pre-sale pass to shop the pre-sale from
2-9pm. Consignors, work
one four hour shift and a barter opportunity, and increase your
earnings by 5%. Bartering opportunities DO
NOT qualify for the $6 credit.
Minimum age to volunteer is 16.
Now
that you are interested, there
are a couple of things you need to know about us:
- When
you sign up as a
volunteer, you are committing yourself to Classy Kids
Consignment. Do not take that committment
lightly! If you must reschedule, you are expected to
give us at least 24 hours notice. If you need to
cancel, please try to find a replacement (husband, parent, friend,
neighbor, etc.) and give us 24 hours notice.
If you do not show up for your scheduled volunteer shift, you
will not being able to volunteer for future sales.
- Under
NO EXCEPTIONS are children
permitted to your volunteer shifts!
Here's an idea! For Moms who need childcare during
your shifts, consider pairing up with another mom, take turns watching
the children, and then come shopping together!
