Volunteers are the heart of our business!
Classy Kids Consignment Sales cannot happen without the many volunteers who offer their time to make your shopping and selling experience fun, safe, efficient and easy. When you help us with our sales, we help you at our sale. Whether you are a shopper or a consigner or both, by volunteering or bartering with Classy Kids Consignment, we offer you fantastic incentives for shopping prior to the public, sale credit, and additional commission on your consignment.
If you are a first time volunteer with us, here are the incentives that we offer: We do not have any 12 hour paid slots available at the Manassas event.
Guidelines for Volunteering with Classy Kids Consignment:
- If any of the following terms are violated, you will not be permitted to volunteer at future sales.
- When you commit to volunteer with Classy Kids Consignment, we expect you to take that commitment seriously and act accordingly in a professional manner.
- Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.
- Under NO circumstances are children permitted to accompany you during your volunteer shift(s). NO EXCEPTIONS! For Moms who need childcare during your shifts, consider pairing up with another mom, take turns watching the children, and then come shopping together!
- If you become unavailable for your scheduled shift, you must contact us to reschedule with at least 24 hours notice. If you need to cancel, please try to find a replacement (husband, parent, friend, neighbor, etc.) and give us 24 hours notice.
Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Volunteering:
- If I consign with CKC, am I also required to volunteer? No, you can consign without volunteering. However, if you volunteer at least 4 hours and complete one bartering opportunity, you can increase your commission by 10%. Check out our Incentive Table for other volunteer incentives.
- How does volunteering benefit me as a consigner? If you volunteer at least 4 hours and complete one bartering opportunity, you can increase your commission by 10%. Check out our Incentive Table for other volunteer incentives.
- Can I volunteer without consigning? Yes!! We welcome all volunteers! If you choose to volunteer at least 4 hours, you receive a pass to our Volunteer Pre-Sale prior to the rest of the public. Check out our Incentive Table for other volunteer incentives
- Many of your volunteer shifts are during the day—can I bring my kids with me? No. Under NO circumstances are children permitted to accompany you during your volunteer shift(s). NO EXCEPTIONS!
