Step 1. Request a consignor number . Returning consignors do not need to reapply for this number. Your number will stay the same for every sale. You can consign at one or both sale locations. There is no need to re-tag items from one sales event/location to another. Your tags will scan at any Classy Kids Consignment sale.
Step 2. Order your tagging gun and tagging barbs. You can speed you up the tagging process by using a tagging gun. We are able to purchase tagging guns in bulk and pass the savings on to our consignors. You can now purchase your tagging gun and have it mailed directly to you. The cost is $13.50 which includes your tagging gun, 1000 barbs and shipping. Now you won't need to mess with safety pins any more! Click the paypal link below to make your purchase. We do not require you to use a tagging gun but we highly recommend it. It is faster and decreases the opportunity for tag switching.
Step 3. Log into the tagging program . Here you can access the Consignors Info Packet and Tagging Guidelines Video. It is very important that you read all our guidelines!
Step 4. Begin Tagging. Now you are ready to begin entering your items. Each item must have its own tag. You can not use the same tag for duplicate items. Example: You have three pairs of white sandles. You can not print the same tag three times. Each tag has its own unique number and can not be scanned at the register more then once.
- To print tags you MUST use paper stock or cover stock that is 60 lbs or more. Any color is fine. (available at Office Depot, Staples, etc.)
- Do not tape over barcode on tag. Barcodes must be unobstructed.
- All tags should be attached on the front of the item (onto the inside size tag or a seam). Be careful not to damage the fabric!!!!
- There is a HELP button on the inventory sheet where you enter all your items that should answer any questions.

Step 5. Bring in your items during the designated times for receiving. We inspect each item that comes in for consignment. We need your help in placing all accepted items on the sales floor. That is it! We handle the rest! The best part is that you can watch your sales as the sale progresses.
Your check will be mailed three weeks after the sale ends. If you are looking for hangers ask at your local department store for free hangers. Hangers can also be purchased at the dollar store, Walmart, Ebay and even craigslist. Consignors can get hangers when they pick up their unsold items.
